# Nova Company Intelligence & Agent Reliability API

> Paid x402 v2 utilities, version 0.4.0. No API key. Pay exact USDC per call on eip155:8453. Agent output recovery is $0.01. A company snapshot is $0.03. A company intelligence report is $0.25. A cited research decision memo is $0.99. MCP Streamable HTTP is POST https://nova-agent-output-recovery.onrender.com/mcp.

Call the endpoint with a JSON body. On HTTP 402, base64-decode the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header, pay accepts[0], and retry with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. The live 402 challenge is authoritative if it differs from this guide.

- POST /api/agent-output-recovery ($0.01): https://nova-agent-output-recovery.onrender.com/api/agent-output-recovery. Repair malformed LLM or tool-call JSON and optionally validate a JSON Schema. Body field rawOutput (string) is required.
- POST /api/company-snapshot ($0.03): https://nova-agent-output-recovery.onrender.com/api/company-snapshot. Fast compact profile of a public company website: name, what they do, offerings, headquarters and size only when the company's own page states them, 3 to 5 source URLs, and confidence. Body field website (string) is required. One public company-domain search. Payment settles only when a snapshot is completed.
- POST /api/company-intelligence-report ($0.25): https://nova-agent-output-recovery.onrender.com/api/company-intelligence-report. Build a source-linked report from a public company website. Body field website (string) is required. Optional focus is an array of up to 8 short strings.
- POST /v1/research-brief ($0.99): https://nova-agent-output-recovery.onrender.com/v1/research-brief. Build a cited public-source decision memo. Body field question (string) is required. Optional fields are company, domain, time_window, and depth. Citations come only from retrieved sources. Payment settles only when a memo is completed.

## MCP

POST https://nova-agent-output-recovery.onrender.com/mcp is a stateless Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. initialize, tools/list, and nova_catalog are free. nova_catalog lists each tool, its USDC price, and an example input.

Paid MCP tools: recover_agent_output ($0.01), company_snapshot ($0.03), company_intelligence_report ($0.25), cited_research_brief ($0.99). An unpaid tools/call returns HTTP 200 with a tool result whose isError is true and whose structuredContent is the x402 PaymentRequired object (resource url mcp://tool/<tool name>). It is not an HTTP 402. Retry the same tools/call with params._meta["x402/payment"] set to the PaymentPayload. The server verifies and settles that payment before it runs the tool. If settlement fails, the tool does not run and the result is a payment error.

## How to pay

1. POST the JSON body with Content-Type: application/json and no payment header.
2. Expect HTTP 402, an empty JSON body, and a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header.
3. Decode that header. Pay the exact scheme entry: USDC, amount in atomic units (6 decimals), network and payTo from the header.
4. Retry the same request with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header.
